Your future roleWe are looking for an Expert DevOps Engineer to join the newly built Cloud Delivery France as part of SAP's Sovereign Cloud Organization. With the buildout of new Sovereign Cloud regions, you will be taking part in laying the foundation towards a unified and competitive business in the regulated industry.You will be responsible for production cloud operations of our multitenant solutions in France.What you'll build:Cloud Operations: Design, implement, monitor, maintain and optimize the SAP Sovereign Cloud system landscape for France.Setup of a multi-system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies.Provide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.Continuous improvement of implementation documentationPartner with engineering team to design and enhance the cloud operation processesWhat you will bringDesire and ability to work independently on complex issues, as well as collaborate efficiently with experts across different time zones to anticipate issues that impact customer successExpertise with GitLabFamiliar with Terraform and AnsibleExpertise with Linux, SUSEExperience with CI/CDExperience with some of the following: Kubernetes, Helm, Python, BASH scriptingExperience with hyperscaler services, Experience with Cloud Computing and DatabasesDebugging/Troubleshooting skillsAbility to multitask and handle various projects, deadlines and changing prioritiesA willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and flexibility to work in shifts is required, ensuring consistent coverage and support.Commitment to maintaining daily office presence for efficient team collaboration.Experience in cloud operations of at least one SAP solution (e.g. HCM, BTP, SAC, etc.) is optional.BeneficialHashicorp Vault, Argo CD, GitOpsExperience with building, implementing, and/or supporting multitenant solutionsDue to the potentially classified nature of our work, your willingness is required to subject yourself to a governmental security clearance process.#LI-LB4Bring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
