FAYAT IT is the IT department of the FAYAT Group. Its mission is to deliver and manage a high-quality information system that supports the performance of FAYAT Group subsidiaries in France and internationally. It pursues three main objectives:
Deploying and ensuring the implementation of the Group's IT strategy;
Ensuring optimal service quality on a global scale;
Supporting the Group's subsidiaries in their digital transformation, mobility, and digitalization initiatives.

The Fayat Road Equipment Division (FRED) designs and provides innovative and sustainable solutions for road construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation.Fayat IT is looking for its future Data Architect (M/F) on a permanent contract in Massy (France, Paris greater area).

As a Data Architect, you play a key role in building this foundation.
You ensure that data across the FRED Digital Eco-System is reliable, consistent, and fit for purpose, enabling trusted insights, scalable digital products, and confident decision-making at group level.

The FRED Digital Eco-System is a strategic, group-wide transformation initiative shaping how the company builds, deploys, and operates its digital capabilities.
By standardizing platforms, processes, and governance across brands, the Eco-System ensures reliable, secure, and scalable digital services.
It is a cornerstone of FRED's long-term strategy, enabling operational excellence, business continuity, and the sustainable scaling of digital products.

Key Responsabilites :

- Validate/Define Data Architecture and Data Model
- Validate/Define Rules, Norms and Data standards for data storage and data treatment
- Validate/Define Tools (e.g. storage, reporting, data quality...)
- Support data governance standards and documentation.
- Support the Run Manager into pre- Cost and Performance analysis.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Data Regulations (e.g. GDPR, EU Data Act...)
- Set up Tools to ensure and follow data quality and security.
- Prepare the data readiness for test phase.
- Support the Solution Architect to ensure compatibility of the Eco-system integration.
- Knowledge / Expertise in DataBricks is a strong plus
