As a member of this team,you'llworkalongside product, design, data and other engineerson features that directlyimpacthow creators upload, manage, monetize, and grow their content on Dailymotion. Your work will empower creators-from independent artists to major media companies-to reach their audiences and build successful channels.

Whatyou'lldo

- Design, build, andmaintainbackend services and APIs that power creator-facing features across Dailymotion
- Work across our technology stack-primarily Python with legacy PHP systems-in both monolithic and microservices architectures
- Tackle complex technical challenges in video processing, content management, creator workflows, and platform scalability
- Make pragmatic architectural decisions, balancing technical excellence with creator needs and business objectives
- Produce clear, comprehensive technical specifications that enable seamless collaboration across multiple engineering teams
- Be highly responsive in your communications-answer questions promptly, providetimelyupdates, and keep stakeholders informed
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and learning from others
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code that others can understand and build upon
- Champion engineering best practices including testing, documentation, observability, and operational excellence
