Join Us at the Forefront of Quantum Computing Innovation

Description of the Project

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative intern to join our cutting edge team focused on advancing the field of optimal control in photonic quantum computing.
The selected candidate will work closely with our research and development engineering team to enhance the performance and precision of detecting and time tagging single photons.
This function is key for photonic quantum computer and requires multi-GHz bandwidth with equivalent time sampling over 100GSa/s.
To reach this goal, the implementation will be done on an AMD FPGAs interfaced to high speed analog front ends.
For integration in the full system, other functions like Digital Signal Processing, TCP/UDP real-time streaming over 10Gb/s or 25Gb/s Ethernet, ... will also be needed.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and simulate the FPGA code
- Develop the firmware in C and the remote API in python on PC
- Build a working prototype
- Write internal technical reports
